“Sometimes our fate is different from the one we imagined for ourselves.” ― Jean Kwok
Human body is one of the greatest creation of our Almighty Father. No matter how complicated our DNAs are, it’s still easy for us humans to live life. We only need to fill our stomachs and stay sheltered to survive. But we are only mortals. Our living time has its limit and our bodies will also fail. So our bodies are very precious. Precious in a sense that it needed protection and care. We’re like living jewelers and our bodies consists of different jewels. But these jewels are unlike those we can see in accessories and dresses, these are the most sensitive, expensive, rare and important jewels in our life ― our organs.
Others say that every girl has a specific diamond destined for them to have. Every angle of cut within a diamond shows its unique beauty so in short every diamond has its own charisma. We can’t have those badly suited us, we need those that shows that only our outer beauty best but also symbolizes our characters as well. Our organs are like diamonds. We are designed that every organ fit us. But we are lucky, because our Creator made us almost identical within. In a way that other person organs can also fit almost perfectly to others. But still I’m thinking and asking, even though it’s possible nowadays, why wait for the time when we need to have our jewels be replaced before we guard it? Why let diseases or other circumstances steal these from us? Or why not treasure those jewels and stop injuries from happening? We truly are sometimes clueless, defenseless, armor-less and weak.
I believe I was not well-informed about these things. All the if onlys and if maybes are taking residence in my head. Like if maybe I was knowledgeable enough, if only I take precautions. But I can’t tell my fate really. What can I say? If the problem is deeply branded in our blood, we can’t repulse it no matter what. But even it is hereditary, we can sometimes use precautions to avoid this. We can eat healthy foods- not too much salt and calories, exercise daily, do regular check-ups and avoid if not totally as much as possible junk foods and usage of preservatives. It’s not healthy, it can only lessen our life’s span. I’m in no position to claim these all, I’m just stating based on my experience. I don’t want other person to experience what I’ve undergone. I don’t want them to make the same mistake I’ve made and realize all the questions I keep on asking. Asking what ifs, having regrets, disappointment and realizing wrong judgments are too tiring. Life is too short., so live life not to shorten it more but to have a productive, healthy and joyful life.I’m a keen believer of fate and destiny. We can’t really tell if what is His plan for us . We’ll just have to accept it no matter what. And smile more and have faith for He has greater plans for you. Enjoy life for all the good things last. Instead of feeling down because of unsuccessful goals, just be thankful for all the blessings He’d given you. For the friends, family, lovers if you have and for the Our God Our Savior that always there to save and protect us.
Even mortal body vanish easily, memories do lasts. To end my blog, this quote shall I give you.
“Treasure the love you receive above all. It will survive long after your good health has vanished.” – Og Mandino
